Thank you to everyone that supported the Firesmart cleanup at Access 8 in the Bravo neighborhood yesterday. We hauled 6 trailer loads of debris away to the Eco Depot. Also we would like to thank Danny Funk from the TNRD for helping out and supplying the food as well as BBQing the burgers and hotdogs. It was a great success.

Open House – May 20th 11 to 1
SGLVFD will be holding their annual Open House on Saturday, May 20th from 11 – 1 pm Pie sales, Firesmart info, Sprinkler demo, Raffle , Hotdogs & refreshments by donation.
All apparatus will be on display, come on down and meet your local firemen!!!
Wood Piles
Just a update on the grinding of the wood piles. Arrow Transport Systems will be moving equipment in this weekend (Feb 20-21) and are going to be grinding the debris piles and hauling them for utilization.
They are estimating (weather and conditions allowing ) it will take about a week to grind and hauling will take place up until road bans are put on. So hopefully everything will be moved before that if not they will finish the hauling once bans are lifted.
